A very good article holding a very valid point: what about the buyers. All these closed doors exhibitions irritate me. Although I have a large collection and thus, get invited, I feel the fairs should be open to all. Journalists seldom buy a watch!

Doing events during the Covid-19 pandemic these last two years necessitated getting together by Zoom. Now that the world appears getting back to “normal” post-pandemic, there is no substitute for meeting face-to-face at trade shows. The Dubai Watch Show was a spectacular event in November 2021! I anticipate that starting this Spring, we all will be able to get together without the fear of getting sick.
